Confirm your café details
Confirm your café’s name, address, opening hours and launch contact. If you operate several venues, identify each location separately so the cards and customer experience can be checked against the right café. Confirm how the café’s name should appear on the first screen.

Agree the cards and QR assignment
Agree the card supply, delivery address and launch arrangements with LuckySip. The QR sources on your supplied cards must be assigned to the intended café before distribution. Do not swap packs between venues without checking with LuckySip.
A café may have more than one assigned QR source. Confirm which packs belong to your location and how their activity will be grouped. The printed Card Code is a separate part of the customer journey, not the café’s internal ID.
Check the customer journey before launch
Using the agreed test process, scan a supplied card with a phone and check that the first screen shows the correct café name. Follow the Card Code instructions and check that the offer and its conditions are understandable.
Where the journey includes an email, confirm that its details match the offer. Label test activity as testing and agree how it is excluded from real campaign results. If the wrong café appears or the journey fails, contact LuckySip before distributing that pack.
Give your team a short briefing
Explain the message side, the QR side and the printed Card Code. Customers use their own phone; your team should not collect passwords, enter personal details on their behalf or promise an outcome from a scan.
Suggested wording: “There’s a message card with your coffee. Scan it to see the linked offer and its conditions.” Let customers choose whether to take part.
Make the card part of the coffee moment
Choose a clean, dry place beside the drink or on the tray where the message and the card are easy to notice. Agree a simple routine that fits your service and keeps cards away from spills and food contact.
Keep the QR side available for scanning. A brief introduction is enough; there is no need for a long sales pitch or pressure to participate.
Explain Free Coffee accurately
LuckySip programmes can include Free Coffee, but not every card or scan entitles the customer to a free drink. Your team should check the particular offer’s participating venue, validity and redemption conditions.
If your café is involved in redemption, agree the staff verification process with LuckySip before launch. Do not accept an unrelated brand discount as a café voucher or promise a benefit that is not included in the offer.
Know how to request help and more cards
Choose one café contact to monitor stock and raise questions with LuckySip. Request more cards before supplies run low and agree the quantity and delivery arrangements; this guide does not promise a delivery time.
For a problem, describe the café, the affected QR source or card pack, the time and the step that failed. Share an error screenshot only after removing customer personal information. Do not publish customer emails, private voucher links or credentials.
